A little ways down there is a object that looks like a chain link, right below that is two arrows click that so when you watch a video you can make it bigger (otherwise the video's will stay small). This site has lots of good videos that go along with this weeks story. It also has other extra learning options too.

Attendance
When your child is absent please report the absence to the school office at 436-2374. If your child has a temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and/or other symptoms such as cough, nasal congestion, vomiting or undiagnosed skin problems please do not send your child to school. Children should be free of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours before they return to school. If we don’t hear from you we do call, we want to make sure your child is safe and is where he/she is supposed to be.
Sending money to school
When you need to send money to school please send it in a sealed envelope. On the envelope please write your child's name and 1st grade. Also write what the money is to be used for.
Book Bags
Please send a regular-size book bag to school with your child every day. This will help to keep your child's papers from getting ruined or lost. Please check your child's bag every day. You will find papers and notes. It is important for you to discuss your child's work with him/her. You might comment on neatness, praise a colorful drawing or ask questions about how a page was completed. It is important that your child knows you are interested in his/her schoolwork.
Winter Clothing
Our students should have boots, snow pants, scarves, mittens, and jackets during the winter months. If you do not have some of these things, please let us know. We do have some donated items. It is important for children to get fresh air and exercise. We go outside everyday unless the temp. is below -9 including the wind chill.
Library
We have library once a week. Mrs. Reese reads the 1st graders a story and then they get to choose one book. Please return the books the following week. If they have not brought back a previously checked out book they will not get to choose another book until the other one is returned.
Book Orders
Book orders will be sent home with your child several times this year. If you choose to order, fill out the form and send the check or cash to school in an envelope. The checks may be written to the book company. A note is usually attached to each book order so you know the last day to order.
