Special Education Assistant One Act PlayYearbook
Biographical Info
Hi! I’m Jennifer Klegstad. I was born and raised in Kittson County and graduated from Tri-County in 1988. I earned my degree from Moorhead State University in Elementary Education and Special Education (Learning Disabilities).
I have been teaching special education at the middle and high school levels for over 31 years. I have taught at Franklin Middle School in Thief River Falls and Lancaster High School, and I have been fortunate to teach at Tri-County since 2006.
I love being part of Tri-County. The students and staff make it a great place to work, and I feel lucky to be teaching in the community I call home. My goal is to help students build the confidence and skills they need to be successful—in school and beyond. Besides teaching, I am the Yearbook Advisor and Assistant One-Act Play Director, which are both a lot of fun and give me a chance to work with students outside of the classroom. And I have to admit, one of my favorite events of the entire school year is the Homecoming Lip Sync Contest!
