Tri-County Graduation Requirements

1.   All students must earn 23 credits in grades 9 -12 to qualify for a diploma.
2.   Year long courses are worth one credit.  Semester courses are worth .5 credit.  Band and
       choir are each worth .5 credit.
3.   Students must earn 17.5 credits in required courses and 5.5 or more in elective courses.
4.   Students must earn 1 credit in art, music, or web design.
5.   Effective with the Class of 2014, all students must complete 1 credit of Algebra II.
6.   Effective with the Class of 2015, all students must complete 1 credit of chemistry or physics.


Grades 9-12 Requirements

English - 4 credits
Social Studies - 4 credits
Mathematics - 3 credits
Science - 3 credits
Health/Phys. Ed - 1.5 credits
Careers - .5 credit
FACS or Industrial Tech - .5 credit
Art, Music, or Web Design - 1 credit
Electives - 5.5 credits       

TOTAL    23 credits

1.    English 10    1 credit
2.    American History 10    1 credit
3.    Biology 10    1 credit
4.    Math    1 credit
5.    Careers    .5 credit
6.    Phys. Ed. 10    .5 credit
